After weeks in beta, users can now install the stable version of Android Oreo update to their Nokia 6 smartphones. This is not the first time that such a news has come to the forefront; we had reported in early December past year how the device was set to receive the Android Oreo update.

Speaking about the update itself, apart from bringing along Oreo specific features to the ZenFone 3 like Notification Dots, Picture-in-Picture, Smart Text Selection and more, this update also comes with some UI changes to Settings as well as re-designed launcher which includes swipe-up gesture to open app drawer. If you haven't received it yet, you can manually check for the update by going to Settings- System- About Phone- System update.

Furthermore, this update also removes three apps from the smartphone. Available in two different models, the ZenFone 3 (ZE552KL) sports a 5.5-inch FHD display, while the ZenFone (ZE520KL) offers a 5.2-inch FHD display. For instance, users can minimise a YouTube video and continue watching it in a small PiP window, while doing other tasks like sending an email or replying to a WhatsApp message. The ZenFone 3 (ZE520KL), on the other hand, also features a Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.
