Charlie Villanueva's toilet stolen, #findmytoilet hashtag jumps to life

His last National Basketball Association season was in 2015-16 with the Mavericks.

A creative crook snuck into Charlie Villanueva's Texas home on Tuesday and stole his toilet.

The former National Basketball Association player - who last played in 2016 with the Dallas Mavericks - took to Twitter on Tuesday to share that his Dallas home had been broken into.

Villanueva was the No. 5 pick in the 2005 NBA Draft by the Toronto Raptors. Villanueva wrote that he had been waiting for the police department to arrive for two hours. "I'm not making this [expletive] up".

Villanueva is now on a mission to find his toilet and some stolen appliances.

As they say, you truly don't know what you've got until it's gone. "This is mind blowing @DallasPD", he added.

The 33-year-old Villanueva even shared a photo of the missing porcelain over Twitter in the midst of a series of tweets. One of them included a picture of his bathroom, sans toilet. Many users have offered suggestions on how to locate the toilet vandals. A rebate option is also available for up to $90 per toilet.
